My MTS hit catcher stopped talking to me when it catches a HIT. Has anyone had this issue before?

Camden is the devils butthole. It is an amazing place that time and prosperity forgot. BUT I hear they're doing great work there to get the community back up and running, it will just take a long time. When manufacturing left, the whole state sort of forgot about it and treated it poorly. Even Trenton is coming back up.

NJ is a hilarious state full of absolutely gorgeous places and absolutely horrible places all packed into a smallish spot. I love it.

My husband and I had never been in the area several years ago and flew in to see The Liberty Bell and go on to visit Atlantic City. The problem was it was our last government shutdown so no Liberty Bell and we had to find something else to do. We chose a very nice aquarium in Camden, and then read about a great Philly steak place somewhere in Camden. The further we drove into Camden in our little out of place rental car, the more nervous we got. I live in a town that is a royal shithole and Camden unnerved me. We saw the police and were worried we would get pulled over for being so out of place we must be looking for drugs. Anyway, we skipped the scary looking Philly steak place, and were starving so pulled into a Burger King drive through. Asked for a cheeseburger with just mustard and ketchup and they were like "you mean just ketchup? We don't have any mustard here. Maybe we have packets? We don't use mustard here." It was like I was on an alien planet.

probably obvious but have you checked your settings to make sure the notification didn't randomly get shut off?

Is there an option in HIT catcher for that, other than the Sound button on each individual HIT? I tried looking through the settings and didn't find anything.

Sounds like the TTS engine in Chrome died, you'll probably have to restart Chrome to get it working again.

Oh also in case you ever come back and go to Atlantic City, please do not leave the boardwalk, or those other awful casinos on the other side of AC. What lies beyond the boardwalk/casino is not for you.

I love my state.

The boardwalk itself at dark wasn't....friendly. But, it was October and probably out of season.
We loved the aquarium at Camden, and it was raining so bad we couldn't get to our car after for a while so we watched the river. Being from cornfields and not much water around here, it was awesome to watch the Delaware River churn in the storm. I wished it was nice out so I could sit at the bench and just enjoy it.
Having said that, I don't intend to go back to Camden. Atlantic City only maybe in the summer.
