My question and the response from Mr. Amazon employee. It's about what I was expecting, but its something. I asked about throttling, any potential plans for defenses against unfair rejections, and (mostly humorously) for any potential tips outside of what the support team will email you when trying to obtain Masters next. Haven't got a response yet.

Note that I've cut out some stuff to make it a bit more readable.

Q:
This was posted in mid 2017, and the messages I have received from the multiple people needing suspension help since then have been given anything but that supposed transparency.

Let me be clear though: some of them have received very transparent reasoning, and you can see examples of it in my suspension thread.

So my question is: why are people still being given the run-around regarding the reasoning behind the suspension, and are there currently anything in the works to make this transparency common for everyone?

I would like to state that one of the main reasons I made that thread in the first place was because of how inconsistent the support team was (and is, unfortunately) when it comes to suspensions.

What I glean from the response outside of the typical stuff is that this guy is personally willing to check on people's accounts if they feel they have been unfairly suspended. I'm just going to say he may regret that, since the large majority of people I get PMs from WERE unfairly suspended.
I was never given an explanation for why my account was suspended in late 2016. My Amazon Payments account was disabled, too, for whatever reason. The only reason I can think of for myself is that I was blocked by too many requesters in too short of a time period. This wouldn't explain why my Payments account suddenly became unverified, when it had no trouble processing payments for me for the previous 6 years.

Any tips to recover my old account? I had Masters, >99.5% acceptance, and >100k+ HITs completed

Btw, that 5 cents HIT with the promise of 10 dollar bonus that I did yesterday - they approved it and dished out the bonus.

Nah I've been out, swung by the house for a couple of minutes before going to class. Seems I didn't miss much though. Get to spend an hour on the road each way all to sit in a tiny 2x2 booth for three hours, what a lovely time.

Oh, fun. Did you receive communication from Amazon basically telling you to quit worrying about your old account and just make a new one? That is the summary of what happened to someone else that used to post here, Mordea I think.

He/she seems to have left entirely so the option of getting more info from them is unfortunately not available. I'm still willing to help of course.

But I think the most important thing to cover right now is did they give you explicit permission to remake your account? Is the account you're using now still using the same tax information and so on? If not then I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to help, and then there's the part where Amazon will probably make a big fuss about determining if you are the actual owner of the account.

I assumed that it would have been flagged/denied registration because the same SS9 was already in use, but I received an email saying it was verified ~4 months after I attempted to create it.

The only communication I've received from Amazon regarding my old account was that it was suspended and that there was nothing that they could do about it.

I've turked off an on over the last 2 years, but mostly have been frustrated with it because I haven't been able to work at the same level as my other account.
