I left his running by itself while i fixed dinner earlier and lucked out that way. It took me a long time to catch one for there being so many too though.

Is Mturk pretty dead now? Last few times I've logged on I was bringing in less than $7 an hour so I've just been nope-ing out for the past months. I honestly can't work for numbers like that unless I'm on the verge of homelessness/starvation etc

it's been pretty quiet tonight. there was a good run of batches from Alexandria formerly known as Hannah as well as Noah under a different name early evening but last few hours have been pretty dead. Generally the couple weeks have been dead because of the holidays. This is the first week back for many of the requestors.

Are you sure it's not just perma-dead? By dead I mean, grind away for 10 hours and make like less than $50($5 an hour should average $50)

There's a lot of people on here who put in some pretty serious hours and seem to make like $30 a day, which would be a very, very low hourly rate

I can't speak to others' hourly returns, but a fair bit of crowdwork has moved to other platforms, some of which are only available to non-US workers or which feature pay rates that would be a waste of time for US workers. It has been the usual amount of dead over the holidays. We'll see how it perks up this week and next.
