No worries. I don't think any of us who went in deep are going to be too badly damaged by such a small number of rejections (though of course it'd suck to lose out on the money) so nobody ought to be that mad, worst case scenario.

From the description of the henrys, it seemed like it would be an ongoing thing, though A) perhaps not at that rate, and B) depending on the quality of the answers.

Might develop a qual, or manually rate users form the batch (manually grant a qual).

What the hell. I DID catch that HIT, and using Mturk Suite, hovering over the requester name said that they were a new requester. I clicked on TV anyways, just to see, because sometimes Mturk Suite shows new requester even when they're not. Guess what, there's no reviews on TV. So I assumed they're a new requester and didn't want to risk doing that many HITs for them.

If I had clicked on TO, I would've saw that they do have reviews, dating back to 2014. Lesson learned. From now on, if I see a decent batch from a seemly new requester, I'm going to click on TV, TO 1 AND TO 2 just to confirm that they do or do not have any reviews. I just missed 50 bucks for no reasons. *facepalm* feelsbadman, I'm going to bang my head against a wall now.

Nope, neither needed nor necessary. Formal academic papers are structured the same regardless of what language they're in - if you know what to look for, and you know that the word for "university" doesn't really vary that much in a bunch of languages with Roman-based alphabets, it was really pretty quick to verify the first requirement for a quality paper.

I had very few "edge cases" where it wasn't clear. Almost all of them fell clearly into one of the categories without being able to read the language.

They were asking mainly about structure, not so much about whether the research was *good* or *valid* or anything.

I'm sure there were some buried in there somewhere that were unclear, though.

What do you mean by accidentally? If you answered it truthfully the first time and were screened out, then definitely not. If it truly was an accident, like as if a freak muscle spasm occurrence happened, causing you to click a wrong option, I couldn't really say. I'm sure you can decide for yourself what is honest and what isn't.
