Anyone around 3 years ago on mtf will remember they were handing out masters on Thursday's on a semi regular basis. I didn't get it until 2015 and the very day I hit 100k. Needless to say there were many weeks of salt involved.

I would get excited for any email ding back then, it was always such a disappointment. (And I shouldn't have even been disappointed at the time I was just a baby turklet.)

I think there might be something to the theory about taking a break and then when you come back, they'll give it to you. Not recommending that you do that, just saying that I'd never thought about it enough before to make the connection that I got masters after a hiatus.

Every hit related theory that popped up, I tried it. (Aside from taking a couple weeks off.) I'm still firmly convinced that my brother and I got it because of social photo, but I think they've changed it since we seemed to catch on.
