It's just my opinion of course, but I would imagine they just do not want to do it anymore. I don't see a real reason why people would bother to complain about them. I don't use them myself for anything and mostly don't check it, but its a once a week email so it really doesn't cause any harm. Who knows maybe some people got upset being out earned and started flipping metaphorical tables via email.
