Nevermind, I figured it out. Apparently TurkPrime blocks all VPNs, and my workplace runs through a VPN before connecting to the internet. Fuck me I guess

Yeah they are hard to grab. I actually asked earlier how many batches had dropped b/c @FrenchToast mentioned them and I saw none, so I assumed I'd been blocked.

They're tricky buggers. Some days I grab 5, others I grab zero.

I've wondered this multiple times myself. I've seen days where they posted like 12 batches, and I don't even manage to grab a single one. But since I do manage to grab 1 or 2 every 3 days or so, I've concluded that can't be true. Must have hundreds of people setting up relentless PANDAs on them day and night, just spamming away.

I used to get dozens of them every other day though. Don't know what happened. Maybe there's some sort of limit block now? So the HITs are more diversified?

I tend to keep my C-Sat panda up and running whenever I'm just farting around or when I'm working and don't have anything Panda'd. I'm sure lots of other folks do, too.

The thing with PANDAs though, is that mturk limits the amount of connections you make with their server. At maximum you're only able to spam a maximum of 3 HITs per second. Any more than that and mturk will temporarily terminates your connection. So instead of directing you to the page where you normally go after you accept a HIT, it will redirects you to a page called maximum page request exceeded.

I'm rather amused that this requester had posted this HIT at 30c a bit ago, but nobody did it because the submit button was broken, so he just reposted it at 50c. The button is still broken.

I run a requester search, and a hit specific search (for c-sats) whenever I have nothing else running and have absolutely zero problem with PREs. If you're running too many things you do get yourself borked.
