Yeah I sorta felt the same, my mortgage including escrow is 640/month.Seeing these prices you guys are posting on rent makes me feel even more like my fiance and I got a steal on our house lol but we also bought a fixer upper so that made it cheaper... and it's buying vs. renting...

LOL
It's expensive, schools suck, there aren't many jobs, housing and weather are awful... but it's safe!
Daang, Seattle is looking pretty... better than the NYC Metro area, which is not really surprising at all.
Sounds about right. Seattle has wares if you can pay! (also don't get robbed)
I looked at mine and it had crime at a C+ and I don't know why. I have only seen 1 report of a crime here in the news/etc. in the past year.I wonder how areavibes estimates crime? My tiny town of just less than 500 had some crazy crime estimates for a town full of people who don't even lock their doors.
Probably violent crime, not white collar crime. If it were white collar, my area would not have gotten such a nice score.I wonder how areavibes estimates crime? My tiny town of just less than 500 had some crazy crime estimates for a town full of people who don't even lock their doors.
600/mo including taxes for 3 bed/2 bath in the suburbs. Come buy our house so we can move.700-1000$ here usually for a 1 bdrm apt
(north of hou, tx)
Where will I get hot dogs cooked in the same water the dude has been using for 6 months at 5am? Knish?? Lox and schmear?Abandon the cities.
you or CJ told me someone got shot near you last year or something600/mo including taxes for 3 bed/2 bath in the suburbs. Come buy our house so we can move.
But nothing happens here. In the 5 years I've been here, one car has been stolen. Thats it. No breaks in reported, nada.Probably violent crime, not white collar crime. If it were white collar, my area would not have gotten such a nice score.
Haha, no, that's not exactly hard to accomplish.Daang, Seattle is looking pretty... better than the NYC Metro area, which is not really surprising at all.
NYC Metro would be one of the few places left that's more expensive than Seattle these days. It wasn't nearly like that when I was growing up, but now I'm pretty sure it's in the top 10 most expensive places to live in the country, if not the top 6. Your little town has that going for it at least.I think Seattle's cost of living is WAAAAY more than my town, though.
Everyone getting shot out here.you or CJ told me someone got shot near you last year or something
i forget who said that
My town has a population of 65,603 peopleHaha, no, that's not exactly hard to accomplish.
