how do these usually work? The requester will send out an email to you if your qualify by passing this HIT or how do you know you are eligible to do the HIT if you ever come across it?

Sometimes, they take you right to another survey. Or they'll send you a .01 bonus and a qual.
A few times, you just get the qual and have to figure it out by seeing the hit (but that would be from a requester who doesn't know how to set it up right)

I'm not doing that Percy Liang qual that's up. But it's there........he says he wants to talk about the pay for future hits.

Sometimes, they take you right to another survey. Or they'll send you a .01 bonus and a qual.
A few times, you just get the qual and have to figure it out by seeing the hit (but that would be from a requester who doesn't know how to set it up right)

That's happened to me - I get a qual and the HITs just start showing up. HITs with a qty of 1 lurk in the marketplace and then I realize it's hanging out there waiting just for me. This happens with the multi-day longitudinal studies.
