I tried unsuccessfully to install it b/c I think I was leaving at the time, but I might try again idk my eyes are sooo blurry and webmd informs me I'm dying from it so idk if I have time.

I'm late but how do your inlaws heat their house? (Thats where you are in OH, right?) I thought I remembered you saying they had a woodstove? If so your eyes are like a billion times drier than normal right now. Take that into account as well.

This article is pretty garbage. I know nothing about the dude and he may have been all of the things this article accuses him of being, but the article does little to prove it. All it proves to me is that he was probably an asshole.

Ugh it's weird. There is a wood stove in the kitchen, where dad hangs out most of the time. There are radiators all over, but they're set very very low. In the room I'm using as an office, there is a... rolling... electric radiator kind of guy? Also I think it's really possible that OH is a TON less humid than NJ (I guess that's a no duh kinda thing) and I have hydroponics at home so it's always humid. It's prob a moisture thing, ty for mentioning that. I'm going back to Walmart (b/c it's the only show in town) in a bit so I'll pick up some eye drops.

edit: there is also a coal furnace AND a wood furnace in the basement? Idk the house I grew up in was built in the 70's and now I live in an APT so all of this stuff is weird to me.

I use Google Play music b/c I have android devices and it keeps everything in a cloud (or something?) so I can't lose everything again.

Oh lordt, between all the heaters, that air has got to be crispy! Do they have a humidifier going at all? I really do think its just a combo of dry air + staring at the computer screen.

No humidifier at allll, and actually FIL coughs an awful lot so I might bug him about it. The house is kind of a coffin. Windows stay shut, shades shut (b/c of the wood, it's a big old wood hardwood house) so it's dry and coffin like.

Humidifier will be my new crusade.

I'm often surprised at just how much Spotify has in its library. I think I listen to some pretty obscure stuff sometimes and I feel like I can more often than not find what I'm looking for on there. I don't think I could live without it at this point.

A stockpot of water on the stove works too. Up at our cabin we put a old cast iron pot full of water right on top of our woodstove.
