I don't think it violates the rules to provide any sort of trigger warning on a HIT. I think, too often, requesters don't really think about what much of this stuff does to us, both mentally and emotionally, so their own warnings can be insufficient (if they bother with one at all.)

For me, it hasn't been. But I overslept and have had 0 motivation to do anything at all today. I can't really speak for anyone else.

It depends on what it is. As far as I can recall, Amazon only requires them to state up front if it contains anything they deem to be "adult content."

Well, if there's anything that Amazon would consider to be adult content, I believe they require that the Adult Content qualification be used and it must state in the HIT's title that it contains adult content.

I had a hit like 3 years ago that was so traumatic with the imagery for me that I had nightmares for several months... and they didn't have a decent trigger warning at all. I tend to avoid all "look at the pictures and tell us how you feel" hits after that one. I might have missed warm, fuzzy ones, but I don't want to relive that feeling. Even now it brought back trauma for me. Blergh!

Yea I think my GF is going to have to, she is being hit with constant harassment and lawsuits/possible garnishments over medical bills. A friend of mine insists they can't do that for medical bills but I'm like like uh yea dude they can because I'm seeing it.

Apparently at some point in our country medical companies decided they were going to sue people when in the past unpaid medical bills never led to anything.
