I don't think it violates the rules to provide any sort of trigger warning on a HIT. I think, too often, requesters don't really think about what much of this stuff does to us, both mentally and emotionally, so their own warnings can be insufficient (if they bother with one at all.)
Trigger warnings should definitely be in titles.

Something like 'Do this HIT if for 30 cents if you would like to be mentally scarred for life" would suffice.

This 100% and also how these types of surveys compound. I can only type out the most traumatic event in my life so many times a day guys, please, leave some PTSD for the other requesters!

Yeah, I can't even count how many times I've gone into an innocent-looking survey and come out of it in tears. That kinda of stuff can really ruin your entire day. I think it's pretty fucking insensitive to not give people any sort of warning at all.

That's why with PTSD, I refrain from most surveys unless it's clear af I'm not gonna cry and shit.

I'm amazed that there are still enough workers to actually do their hits! Seems like they eventually soft-block everybody.
I wrote them this past week about the soft ban (I'm in that group), on a day when work was lean on Mturk, and I was doing research / networking emails to build quals/work connections. When it's slow, this kind of filler unpaid work (building business), helps build for later. I get quals that way, sometimes months or years later.

I'll share if something results.

Rejected with "There have been changes made to this survey. Please take it again."

Blows my mind requesters think that's acceptable.
I can't imagine that being acceptable and I'd request reversal *and* report them to Amazon.

You can't just *change your mind* about wanting to pay people for their work and skip off into the sunset.

I did the same because it was literally here is your qualification, and in that email was a whole thing of potential soft bans for a batch, but oh you have been so wonderful with your work it is highly doubtful any of you will get a permaban..... really? Because since my qual I was instantly soft banned on everything lol I even waited patiently for a couple of batches before finally sending a message, so far nothing, which I kind of thought would happen after reading so many others with the same issue, but hey had to try. Good luck to you, maybe they will respond.

Kinda random question, but does anyone know of a keyboard/mouse sharing program like Multiplicity or Synergy, that works with Linux and is free? I could have sworn Synergy was free at one point, but it looks like it costs money now.

And why can't we see who voted for stuff like we usually can?
Is it a hush hush thing who has masters? :(
It's because of the third option. I just thought that maybe people might be shy about admitting that? I don't know. It doesn't look like anyone wants to pick that anyway.
