He had to break into a garage to basement door - because he couldn't get the door frame off of the old door (old house, went into the floorboards - tongue and grove), so he could break into the door from behind
then he couldn't put in a new handle (old door - HUGE mechanism) so I have to go buy a new 'outside' door lock that might fit and he's had to fashion a wood piece to fit inside and drill on the outside plate

Sigh.

But yes, we can get in! Thank heavens. My daughter is 16 and is going back to school today and the washing machine is in the basement!

I have to get an X-ray soon and maybe doctor. Damaged a rib or muscle around the rib. It hurts. A lot. Was busy over the weekend and otherwise needed sleep to battle my illnesses lol

I usually just stare at them wondering if I should wear them, but always end up wearing the easy slip on boots.
and lol at the sneakers for being fancy. That's so true! I also bought a new pair just for working out in and another pair just for walking around neighborhood in.

Edit:I'm always a bargain shopper for shoes. I usually hit the seasonal clearance at Factory Connection and buy my shoes from there. My favorite are a pair of tan heels with a thick heel. Love them.

My goal is shoes.
Even though I'm cleaning up my room so I can move in our new bed and I found like 5 pairs under my old one.

We'll be doing spring cleaning soon which means I'll somehow find 10 bags of trash that come out of drawers and cabinets.

Question...does anyone else have issues with having mice in the house? I'm so damn tired of dealing with them.

we had a RAT in our house. It was getting up through the water heater and only in the guest bathroom which stays shut. We put out traps and ect. We finally threw rat poison under the house. We haven't seen it since. It scared me so much.

Well my GF is convinced it's because we live by the woods...I have a neighbor on one side the back and other side of my house is surrounded by woods and a creek behind my privacy fence. It's obvious the house has had mice problems because there are big glue traps on the outsides of the house.

It's just frustrating.

Growing up I had mice in my house with cats inside and out.

We had a few mice but after putting traps and poison out they are gone We had a drop down ceiling and that was the main place we put the poison to keep it away from the kids and dogs....luckily we are also remodeling the ceiling
