I planted several tomato and strawberry plants this morning. Hoping the raccoons don't eat all of my strawberries again this year.

Huh. I always thought it was snails getting my strawberries but we do have raccoon. Maybe that's where all my berries go!

That's the worst part about rosemary... it never dies and keeps on growing and growing until it takes over everything else...

I have four rosemary plants. They get freaking huge. This year I chopped them back ruthlessly. I hardly watered them at all last year due to the drought and they still doubled their size in one year. They're *almost* worse than mint, which spreads like bamboo.

I know. Especially when it gets tall and all the bottom stuff is dead and gross. I'm going to chop mine back even farther this year and hope that it fills back out. It's so ugly now I'm tempted to remove it if it doesn't come back pretty.

Wow. Does the rosemary affect the taste of the oranges?

And that rosemary needs cutting back, lol. You have some very long branches there!

Cut some and put them in vases around the house. They last about 2 weeks and the house smells ah-mazing (I also put a bunch in the bathroom when I have parties...totally helps!)
