Officially lost my Rowan qual, I guess I like AI responses better.
All in all though PE is 43.59 so I can't complain.

For what it's worth, I don't do the Rowans. But I do believe in the saying, "If you want something done right, do it yourself." I don't begrudge him for requiring a very specific style of work that matches what he would do himself. Especially because he's a very approachable/engaging requester and we could use more of them!

Hannah's 'ask questions about a movie picture' htis were similar. if your mind worked that way, then great, you got them. If it didn't, you'd never get the qual. Or keep losing it.

Just figured out how to view total #HITs from each requester. I haven't been using MTS since I started in Nov/Dec, but:

I was doing them pretty fast dull to scanning and using scripts to click faster, but I'm pretty sure I picked the human responses most of the time. Not sure why he's disqualifying based on time alone.

Yea I was trying to get my brain to go the other way, but it just is not my cup of tea. I'm at least thankful that I got the second chance for these.

Last one I received said 80%. According to his disclaimer: don't worry about perfectly telling apart AI vs. human endings. There's some ambiguity, and what I'm looking for is to tell which AI endings humans prefer. (That way, we can reward the AI for generating sensible endings!) For that reason, it doesn't help me if you cherry pick the easy ones - just do your best, and don't guess wildly
Sooo...if someone prefers the AI endings on some of these wouldn't that be what he is looking for anyway?

So, I missed out on most of the Rowans because my dad quit his job and came over so I could help him with his resume and putting in applications....I have no idea how I became the parent...

it's inevitable. Just wait until he's old and you'll have to take him to appointments, do tasks for him, or even have him move in.

I like to say your parents take care of you when you are in diapers and you take care of them when they are in diapers.

I was doing them pretty fast too, but still have my Qual? I had multiple tabs open at a time to avoid waiting for the next one to load, not sure if that affected anything. Maybe it is a combination of going too fast/too many wrong? I am afraid to keep doing them so quickly now.

He is very approachable and I appreciate that. What gets me is don't tell someone they are doing good, go so far as to add a "don't worry about it, just do your best" disclaimer and then revoke the qual for unsatisfactory work. It would be better to be straight forward about the fact that if you don't meet certain standards your qual may be revoked. That's what I think at least.
