Question for those doing the Computer Vision Turk hits - why do I sometimes get the "gentle reminder" popup above the instructions pop up and sometimes I don't? Am I being yelled at for doing something wrong? I'm pretty sure I'm following the instructions.

I think they appear when you work quickly or because for their last batch they banned a bunch of people (including me, I can do this batch though so if you're banned, it's usually a soft ban until a new batch comes out).

I was able to do two of these new ones and got softbanned again... I didn't know too fast was a thing on those though, and too fast is never an issue for me cause I'm super slow in general but I guess I had gotten pretty quick at them after doing so many of his find stuff in photos hits.

Soft ban is temporary, like just for the day. As long as you're not blowing through them you should be fine. I've been doing them all weekend and haven't been banned. They've been pretty good.

Or don't do them and leave more for me! I'm kidding, keep going on them, it's worth it.

My best guess is if you work under 45 (it might be 50) seconds regularly, you'll get soft-banned.

Regular ban means you're just not allowed to work on any of their things anymore. Softban means that ban will be lifted after a while.

Went to reheat my coffee from this morning while it seems mturk has slowed down a bit and am realizing how open my living room really looks now that we have most everything put back in it's place haha. It was a little claustrophobic for a a few days while my fiance, my brother and I all worked on the ceiling and then yesterday putting in my son's new hardwood floor in his bedroom...busy busy and it feels awesome to finally be making progress^.^

I've been soft-banned for a few days now for going too fast. I knew better but it does last until the HIT title changes or progresses to the next stage, which can be a while.

i don't think it's speed on this batch as i am flying thru them, but most of the answers are NO for the image, also i never was banned from the other batches as some were, and some got banned after doing 2 or 3 HIT's, which i have no idea how you can get banned after that few.

on this batch, if you don't like the image you get as it may be to convoluted with stuff, just refresh and get another image you may like
