I'd recommend milk but that's probably not a good eye to pour in your eye.
Thanks. Yea, I did a few at 17 cents, but I also worked on his previous batch too. I tried to get as much of the .37 ones as I could, but had to take a break to rest my brain for a while on one of the days.
If there's someone around to help, get them to hold you backwards over the kitchen sink and turn the water on cold. Not huge pressure, just gentle flow, then hold your eye open ... keep at it for about 5 minutes. Tilt your head so the water goes from nose to the outer eye. Not trailing across face to the other eye. it's going to be uncomfortable and sore, but won't be burned. If you've noone to help, try and do this yourself the best you can.

Lots of chemistry lab first aid experience (I don't remember what it was but one instance was grabbing the professor by his hair and dragging him to the basin. But as a pharmacist, people used to wander into the shop with the most strange first aid problems.
@Vanyanka If you haven't solved this yet - saline works the best, if you have a rinsing contact solution, use that, don't flush directly on your cornea.
