Well it was on the other website, not mturk. I know he didn't mean to post that website on purpose but it was enough for me to stop working on it forever. Plus, those hits kind of sucked anyway (and I hate getting paid through PayPal).

Yeah but an mturk requester can just as easily upload a csv with malicious sites on it and you wouldn't hold amazon accountable, would you? I think the ambiguity in whose at fault stems from the fact that he is platform and requester simultaneously (in other words he didn't generate the original list of url's an employee of a company did he shouldn't be considered the "requester") but it's understandable how it would leave a bitter taste in your mouth; I can barely go a day or two without Internet. Have you considered sending him some feedback on the experience? You may even receive monetary compensation! I can pm you his contact info if you don't have it
