Some people took a long time to come back after the forum downtime, some people never did. Discord has been lively enough that I have to close the window to get work done. :)

Ugh, I specifically checked my teamviewer remote connection this morning, and this afternoon I go to log on and it says it isn't running on the computer. Another hiccup in my trials and tribulations to successfully turk.

P.S. I somehow accidentally got PC to send Windows notifications when I catch a HIT, so now I'm going to set my Windows phone up on wifi to share notifications so I can get the notifications when I'm in the other room.

Won't really get me a lot of money but I have missed a couple of big HITs for that reason. I say I'm going to check every 15 min and then I'm away for 3 hours.

Can you not use google remote? I've never had any problem with it, and I use it like... all day. If I don't want to get up to check my computer I'll just look in via my phone (b/c I'm a professional lazy person)

uhhh I didn't know that was a thing. Someone on here a few months ago recommended teamviewer as a free way to check a remote connection. I'll look into google remote. I have a mac and an iphone.

AFAIK it works with anything that runs a chrome browser. We even use it to turn my webcam on when we're out of the house to check on the cat!

Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows (Windows 7 and above) and Mac (OS X Yosemite 10.10 and above) desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.
