ok i added it, and its purple. i did find the Cornell qual hit I hit request qual but dunno if they accept or if i am gonna have to email them

They posted on here earlier that they weren't doing another qual hit until later on in the year.

Are quals for better paying tests just dumb luck? I know about the strictly numbers ones, but that's it.

A mix of keeping an eye out for them / seeing them on the forums and mostly dumb luck for the timing of them. I've missed most of the quals in the time I've been here, often because my schedule is later.

Thanks for your interest! We aren't planning to put up more quals anytime soon (it's a fair bit of effort on our end to manage it), unless we find it's too slow with the currently-qualified people. However, we might have more quals in mid-May or more likely in the fall.

Pretty much. If you are working and one posts and you do the hits and they accept them, then hooray....if you decide to take a day off or walk away from the computer for an hour and they post . There are other ones that you can click the qualify button and it will actually have a test attached and some of those are pretty cool, but most of the ones everyone gets hyped up about only post a qual hit once in a blue moon after a purple rainshower has occurred for exactly 3 minutes, or when I get up to go fix something to eat....

Just to add to this, many HITs that give qualifications will have words like "qual" or "qualification" in the HIT title. It can be really helpful to add those words you your include list in HIT Finder/HIT Forker/whatever, if you haven't already done so. Then you'll get alerts when qual HITs post.

I just found a "known bug" in the Cereal Bar HIT that has basically locked me out for the rest of the day. I can't do any more until they reset the server at the end of the day.

I've been waiting months for these to come back up, and I got a handful before I got locked out. This was basically gonna be a good day for me because of those.

So, if you'll excuse me, I have to go buy a 25 lb bag of salt.

No it won't let you join because it says you're already connected. You can quit, return, reload, dance a jig, wait, etc., and it thinks you're still connected. They indicated in an email to me it's a server-side bug they haven't tracked down yet.

Most people say 3-4 is optimal, I usually start turning them off when I get to 7-8 and then turn the old ones back on one by one as I collect new ones.

You'll probably have better luck if you're only running like 1-3 pandas at most at a time. The way PC works is it refreshes every one of those in sequence, so each panda is probably only being refreshed like once or twice per minute. It's not a great way to catch stuff.

106 isn't enough.

You're probably not going to catch anything unless you're running at least 5000.
