i meant like do you or your hubby have the latest smart phone that you can sell and step down to an iphone 5 or something like that. Do you have an expensive TV or some other valuable object that you would hate to part with but isn't as important as your dogs
Unfortunately not. We don't have many luxuries. I sold concert tickets to help pay for his surgery. If it weren't for the surgery we would be able to do this but not only did it cost a lot upfront but he's also been out of work for two weeks with no pay. And to the person who asked if I'd rather put them down... no.... that was my dad who hates animals almost as much as he does being a dad

Hi guys, well still no help from anyone with my pet situation. I have less than 20 days to come up with a 500 dollar pet deposit or we have to find them a new home. I tried to find some one to foster them but no one wants to take in two dogs this size. I posted a gofundme but nobody donated. I called my estranged dad, he basically told me to get them out down. So far it looks like I'm going to and up losing my best friends ):
Maybe you could talk to your new landlord about splitting the deposit into a couple of more manageable payments... 250 the first month, 250 the second month. Work your butt off and sell whatever it takes.

can you make a deal with the people you are renting from to pay as much as you can upfront, then pay some more with each rent payment?

:( I misunderstood your last sentence though. I'll keep thinking. But Cara @Eri had a good idea about calling some programs that help with bills and such. They are out there if you qualify. Where are you located if you don't mind me asking? I can look into resources.

Lol that's my favorite part I called yesterday to ask if we could pay on it monthly and he was basically like "I'm doing you a favor already by giving you thirty extra days, do you think anywhere else is gonna let you rent with those big dogs?" Lol so I'm basically just screwed. And my fiance is like is rather be homeless than lose my dogs but I have a one year old. Homeless is not an option.

I suggested several things the other night when she was asking, just said no and went back to asking the board for money.
