So my kid has a xbox one x, it shot the shit after about 16 months of owning it. It still turns on it just displays no video, pretty sure it's the chip inside of it. He runs out and buys an S because he can't be without an xbox with addiction and all..

Now the X is sitting here at my house basically in my ownership...should I get it fixed? I'll probably have to send it into Microsoft which would be like 250 bucks...but it is a 500 dollar console or should I just trash it and say oh well fuck it...what do you all think.
