I'm actually surprised by all the theater hate. Yeah, watching movies at home is cool, but there's something about watching a movie in theaters that you can't get at home. The screen is huge and they got recliners and alcohol now.

I know C to the J @C to the J would like to see some weird obscure horror movie in a dumpy, possibly haunted movie theater.

There is this one cool theatre that's in the middle of nowhere that people don't go to anymore and I kinda like that one. The last three times I've been to see a movie, my husband and I were the only people in the entire theatre. I don't get anything to eat there though because I don't know how old the popcorn is, and I really have no idea how they stay in business, but when I go to the movies, that run down awful theatre is my top choice.

The most expensive ticket I've seen is like $14 unless you go to a theater with like D-box or something. If you go on Tuesdays, the tickets are like $5. And if you know when to go, like during the week and during the day at certain theaters, you can see movies all by yourself. It's awesome.

$20+ for a movie ticket for 3D or Dbox or Jbox400g or fill in blank and blank
I paid 16 dollars to watch end game at 8 PM on Saturday of opening weekend in the bad ass Dolby AMC theatre....lets not act like I could get a decent baseball ticket for that and add on parking.

Just sneak in food, lol. And most theaters now actually serve pretty decent food, since I don't think they make much money just showing the movies anymore.

Luckily, we don't have these problems at my neighborhood theater: https://cinepolisusa.com/experience

A tad bit steep at ~$21 for a movie, and any food and drinks are crazy expensive, but the seats are awesome and the theaters are rarely full.
