Already @C to the J and @Peachy and anyone else that wants to answer: What is the most you have made on turk in a week? Or the most you have witnessed someone make?
I asked this early on when I joined MTC and got completely torched by someone for asking. But, I'm still curious.

heard kad made 1100 in a day, no idea what he made that week or any other week. I had a 1650 week on Mturk alone. I had a 1900 week on mturk/hybrid combined but 1500 of that was hybrid. I'm pretty sure @C to the J has had bigger weeks on hybrid.

That's awesome! Hybrid must be another type of crowdworking place?
Thanks for answering. I don't have high aspirations over $100 a week, but it's nice to see other people earning serious money from this type of work.

I started Jan 2018 turking and remember seeing people posting on another site and going nuts over Tax Engines or something like that then people sad they were gone. It took me a while of turking to realize that requesters come and they go.

Yea but then it would just even out and be like the amazing week never happened.
I learned from that mistake long ago doing that.
When I had that $1150 week on Pews last month I came right back to work the next week like nothing ever happened.

That's fantastic! But, yes, I agree that this work could be killer boring if you didn't get up and stretch.

It is a lot of work, and a lot of stress but its more money than I could make at a job so I'm happy about that. If I were you I would look at the video kad posted last week (week before maybe?) that showed his workflow. He was doing 5ive's and making a really nice hourly. If you can figure out how to set up your workflow's like that you will make a lot more. I kind of thought after he posted that everyone was going to buy his app and do really well with it, I'm not sure what happened.

I've had to sit out much of this month for the same reason. My body is stupid.

It is a lot of work, and a lot of stress but its more money than I could make at a job so I'm happy about that. I'll have to look that up, thanks! I would probably put more effort into turking, but for me it's just a weird hobby. I work full time, but I keep looking to get laid off sometime and think then I would look around a little deeper on how to turk better.

yep, yep. this is good and bad. i have a good day or week and i’m right back the next day like nothing was achieved the day before. it’s good because you’re not being lazy trying to get more money but i basically never have a day off doing this. i’ve turked everyday this year. i haven’t made less than $10 any day this year.
