I think the goal bar and hit bar are meant for those who are just starting out. I think it is helpful to them - the whole thing about hitting certain markers - 1,000 hits, 5,000 hits, etc. to qualify for more hits, would help someone not give up off the bat. Something to strive for that they can see. I think it is a positive sign, although for their ultimate benefit, to get more workers motivated. Just my opinion.

I like the bar goal thing because it counts the ED articles I let sit in my queue all week on the day I actually write and submit them, so I can see that I actually "made" more money on a given day.

And aslo b/c I want to see my goals everywhere all the time. I want them on a projector on the ceiling so I can't escape them ever.
