DUDE. Badass!

I have an original Megaforce Records pressing of Ride the Lightning. Probably my most expensive LP. I picked up a first of Wish You Were Here a while back for $15 and it is FLAWLESS.

Still working on my Dylan first pressing collection. Only have a shit ton to go.
Niiiice... those early Metallica pressings are $$$.

I don't think I've ever seen one in person lol.

I was just about to say. Do we even have any mentors that still come here?
Nope. No mentors here.
:sofa:
:p
It got difficult to keep current when the @Mentor tag wasn't working. I mentioned a few times that it was dead. It did get fixed for a minute, when it went out the first time but, then it died again and it stayed dead. I tried to keep making sure it was working but, it's not at the top of my priority list.:( Sorry.

Back in 2014 I walked into my local record store and the owner Chuck knew I was always on the look out for them. He was like "Hey man I got something for ya. Been holding on to it hoping you'd come in sometime soon..." then he pulled it out and I was like "Holy shit! Thanks for holding on to it for a while for me I really appreciate it!" He responded with "yeah it was a grueling 30 minutes. I could have sold it at least once I think."

It wasn't set as taggable in the usergroup settings and I have no idea why. Someone must have disabled it at some point.

Hello everyone,
I am a French reporter based in Los Angeles where I work as a correspondent for a European magazine called Equal Times. I am currently working on an article about digital workers, looking particularly at platforms like Amazon's Mechanical Turk. I would like to interview a few workers about the working conditions, the experience with such platforms and the reasons you have come to work on them. I am also very interested in the kind of help and support you have found thanks to communities like MTurk Crowd. I am particularly looking for workers in the LA region (but anywhere in the US would also work). Testimonials can be anonymous (under a pseudonym) if preferred. Looking forward to connecting with you!

I mean, I'm not a mentor, but I end up answering questions for people anyway. I guess people assume I know a lot just because I've been around a long time.

It went down once about a 8-9mos ago, for about a month, until I got someone to fix it. I think it died again on the "hand-over". Not that anything was done wrong but, I think it had something to do with change of admin privs. where some things default(in this case to disabled) on the change.

I could be wrong. All I do know is it was off more than it was on, in very recent history.
