whats the difference between rock and alternative btw? (i barely know anything about either genre)

Alternative is mostly a subgenre of rock. It's named "alternative" because it was different from the other popular rock music at the time and was primarily indie/underground and didn't really seem to fit into the genre (it's mostly a marketing gimick, really.) It started in the late 70s and became popular with the grunge and britpop movements in the 90s. Think of bands like R.E.M, nirvana, oasis, red hot chili peppers, green day, linkin park, Pearl jam.

How many HIT Groups do you guys see if you search for any HITs that pay for 0 cents or more?

I only have 229. I swear there used to be so many more in the past. At least 500-700 everyday.
