i suck at swallowing large pills

I have a 1/4" wide, 1/2 to 3/4" long solid pill that I have to take. I take it end first so it's easier to swallow and with a huge gulp of liquid to help torpedo its way down my throat and esophagus into my stomach.

Buy the human pills instead of the horse ones next time.

You say that to be funny, but it'd absorb and work...

Since we are into MTC After Dark time, I'd have to disagree.

I'm not sure the bung hole is moist enough to dissolve a capsule or hard powder tablet. You'll notice meds meant to be administered as a suppository are usually made of some material where it's hard enough to insert it before the heat of that bung hole area melts it to make the medicine available to be absorbed by the walls of the colon.

Unfortunately the med doesn't come smaller (I suppose) unless I wanted to take two smaller doses to make the larger dose I am prescribed.

The lube to get it in there would probably dissolve the capsule.
None of us said to just shove it as is.
