had 2 paper routes and helped my uncle in the early morning before school deliver the Wall street journal and USA Today
then I helped do grounds work at the apartment complex my mom managed, also did painting and waxing floors and helped clean elderly peoples apartments.

also that summer of '78 I help a guy cut some big ass trees down.

made about 3k that year
not bad for a kid
