There used to be a lot of 'safe numbers' hits when you first started. But I don't know of much off the top of my head anymore.
For starters, I'd do all of the boring, repetitive academic surveys. They won't reject unless you miss attention checks - or go 'super fast'. So, do those.

I did Crowdsurf's then, and they're still continuously posting now. With the lack of A9's or CI's, might be a good move. Little to no rejects, and they hold an interior grading system I'm still pretty sure. If you're all right with transcription, easy way to kill some time and not worry about rejects right away.

Hi, welcome! Just to add to what others have already said above, make sure you're checking out every requester that you work for on TurkerView and Turkopticon. When you're just starting out even a few rejections can really set you back, so I would probably try to focus on requesters that have a well-documented history on those sites of not rejecting. Also, look for requesters that tend to approve quickly if you can, so you can get your approval numbers up fast.
