Mturk ProTip-
If you use MTS, you can (most of the time) see what code you submitted on a HIT using HIT Tracker. Make sure it's synced(on the pc that it was submitted from) and then go to HIT Tracker > History, then the day it was submitted and click View on that day. Then you'll see your HITs. Find the one you're looking for and mouse over the Src button. The tooltip(text bubble that appears) sometimes has that information.
Thanks big time for this tip. Never knew that. I just went back in forth civilly with the lady in e-mail. She seemed very understanding and nice. She agreed to let me retake the survey for free in order to have the rejection reversed. So when she sent me the link, I started it and was like 5 minutes in, and the progression bar was hardly moving. I didn't recognize any of the survey and knew I hadn't taken it. It was a 15 minute survey for .75 cents. Something I would never do. So cynical me was thinking she was lying to me and had me do a different survey for less pay.
edit: I wrote her back stating I wouldn't do the hit for the pay and asked her to reject me again after she had already reversed it to begin with. lol Thought I was getting worked for sure and I have too much pride to do those super low paying HITS.
So I just read your pro tip. Checked the survey and sure enough the completion code it shows is the same one the requester said I had sent her. I feel like a jerk oh well, I'll get over it =D I didn't berate her or lose my cool in anyway so...
I don't know how I could have made this mistake though. Firstly, accepting such a low paying hit on accident. On top of that, accidentally submitting a code to it and then submitting the hit.
She has a red TO with two reviews that don't show up when I log into TO. Super confused on how this even happened. Ahhh mysteries.
Thanks again for that huge tip
