Back when I worked for this @$$#%!3, we used to make Belgian Frittes, cooked in duck fat, and I'd make this bomb homemade ketchup with tamarind and fig. Soooo good! I didn't leave him with the recipe.

It's sad though. He had to stop working.

Fwiw, a lot of this kind of research is useless because it fails to account for the fact that the real value of money to a person isn't necessarily linear. For example, if you bring $10 to work with you for lunch and someone offers you some kind of slightly profitable $10 wager, it's completely rational to pass on that wager, because you'll be starving all afternoon if you lose.

If you ask people on mturk if they'd rather have $100 now or $200 in a year, you don't learn much about their risk aversion, because if they take the $100, they're more likely to just be poor than they are to be risk averse.

A lot of the recent research is testing exactly that (Prospect theory vs utility theory.)
