Oh wow, well that may explain a lot of what I am talking about as most turkers aren't even completing these hits as they get them due to being so busy and having so many other hits on their queries. That alone, would be a huge source of the problems I was describing. There is no way to fix the way it is tracking hourly? LIke somehow MTS could know when you exactly start the survey link itself, and then submit the hit. Rather than from the time the HIT gets accepted?

Oh ok. Well then. I don't know. Maybe there is part screwery and partly because of people not starting hits right away? My gut tells me lots of screwery though.It starts counting when you open the HIT/have it active. So not if it's sitting in your queue. If you have the turkerview script installed it's the thing that looks like this:
