I was watching some documentary or maybe it was Joe Rogan on his podcast talking about volcanos in the United States and that there is one in the USA that if it explodes its going to wipe out a huge portion of the USA . I think it was Joe ROgan and he was talking about the volcano at that one state park that is somewhere. [shrug]

Same with the Volcano in Italy near Naples. Forget the name of it but that thing can go at anytime. Not trying to fear monger just saying.

How do we go about finding closed qualifications? Someone once told me that pressing the qual button rarely gets you the qualifications that you have to actively search for Qualification HITS to get them. Is this true?

Requesters post qual HITs every so often. You just have to be lucky enough to be there when they drop them and know which ones are the good ones.

When you click on a hit and you aren't qualified ... Click on the requesters name in HF or HS, or HF or whatever it is your using and it will bring up a button that says "qual" if it has open qualifications. But I was told it is very rare that anyone comes across qualifications like that which seems to be the case because a while back I went on a Qualification spree and they are mostly (if not all) still pending on my dash

My husband and I lived in CO for 3 years, and by the time we left last October I have never been so glad to see such natural beauty in a rear view mirror. There's no jobs, no housing - it was literally cheaper for us to build a house than buy one - and it was only getting worse. I was a department manager at Safeway for the last year before we left, and it was a nightmare - no one can afford to live there, so no one stays in their jobs, so your own job (if you have one) is a nightmare hellscape of understaffed, underpaid stress. We worked 40 hour weeks in non-minimum wage jobs with a mortgage less than $900 a month and still couldn't even save enough for a vacation once a year. (No kids, no debt.)

I'm not saying this to put you off; it's your life, fuck it, do what you want. But the green rush is very, very real and I would encourage you to have more concrete plans before you up and leave because for every one of you, there's 10 more rich dicks buying all the land and charging people like us through the asshole to live there.

This is absolutely the issue there, i have family allover CO who were born and raised there and they said they could not live there if they weren't on the reservation because the rich Californians are buying up everything in sight even the little shacks that were worth 50k before the rush for 5 times that amount. The homeless population has exploded in the Denver area and is closely edging into Co springs. It's not too bad in Southwest CO where most of my family are . The landscape is breath taking but i would never up and move due to cost of living and the liberals slowly turning the state into the same thing they try to escape in CA. There is also a huge gang problem there now too

I have a friend who moved there from Arizona and lovessss it. She used to live on columbia river gorge and moved further north into washington state. the small horse farm she rented she could go trail riding around the gorge from her backyard and she wasn't spending a ton of money, and she did that on a single income. That's a joke where i live.

So this is more southeastern WA? Yeah, that'd track. There's not a lot out there, so it's cheap, but it's pretty if you're into the dry-sagebrushy thing for 3/4 of the year.

southwestern, closer to the coast.

Housing was cheaper in bend, I think.

however dry and sage-brushy is perfect for keeping horses healthy lol. dry and lack of grass is actually a better environment for them.
