Both of them happened about 4-5 days after I arrived, so my best guess is the crappy recirculated air on the airplane.

Did you fly to those places, then back? Same thing happened on both ends? Maybe try AMTRAK next time and see if the same thing happens.

I don't know that we have Amtrak around here, but that would take a long time? I don't usually get sick on trips, but this year was just an unlucky one. Hopefully that means next winter I will be cold/flu free!
