I don't think I've watched a superhero movie since the first Avengers came out in 2012. Keeping up with the 8 billion Marvel movies that come out each year seems like too much work.

Well my day just took a turn for the worst. Broke up with my BF of like 7 years and moved out last month. We were living in a house that was being rented out to us by his parents, and I told him just let me know what I owe them and I'll try to get everything together. Heard nothing until the next month ( beginning of this month) where his mother began demanding the rent, which I had just put into my car (car accident) and the new place I'm staying at. She goes off on me (was really trying to work it out) accuses me of trying to F them over, and tells me that I have until August 1st to come up with 3k to break the lease. Fine. Was driving when she had called and forgot to send the text with my new address to her because I was frantically trying to figure out how I was going to come up with that. A few days later she'd asked for the insurance info for the dog he and I shared, which I gave to her no problem. She mentioned nothing else..
Fast forward to today and she calls my job trying to get them to give her my new address. The lady that answered the phone denied her, told her that the only thing she could do was transfer her to me (which she declined) and came and told me what happened because she has a ex that stalks her in a similar fashion and was concerned.

I'm so shaken up guys. I have bipolar, have been going through bouts of severe depression and have now been having a major panic attack for the last 2 hours over this. I don't usually get personal, but I feel kind of comfortable venting here.

yea, I can't even scrape pennies on mturk right now because I'm so upset.
And the kicker was that I was trying really hard doing this plus my main gig and a side gig to pay her off and avoid any weirdness. She wants to take me to court over a broken lease that she didn't even give me a real chance of paying off.

Hugs my fellow sugary, delicious food. My inbox is open. I'm dealing with my own crazy ex this morning. I am jumpy and jittery and def having panic/anxiety this morning.

If she really wants to pursue the broken lease, wouldn't you only be liable for half since there was another party on the lease with you? Maybe let her take you to court.

I'm not sure where else I'm going with this, other than some people just suck!

Saw Logan at the World Premiere at Berlinale. I have photos of Hugh and Patrick somewhere. Mrs. had to use the bathroom and we couldn't get to our seats up front....had to sit waaaaaaaaaaaaaay up in the nosebleeds. Still cool. Love Berlinale!

If he still lives there, the lease isn't broken. That debate is between you and him.

She can't request rent in July for rent due in August and September. At worst, you'd pay it when it was due. But like I said, the lease hasn't been broken....your ex still lives there. So......wtf? He's also responsible for those damages, as well....if they exist. I would assume there is a security deposit? She'd need to be pretty specific about what was actually damaged and what isn't just normal wear and tear.
