I played a ton of WoW, it was my first method of making money over the internet lol (used to sell lessons on tanking/warrior dps) but now I stick to games I can jump into for a few mins at a time, current favorite im revisiting is payday 2

Kinda the same but MMO's in general. Played UO on and off for about 17 years. In between it was WOW, SWG, Atlantica(awesome underrated game), Guild Wars and a ton of others. Recently bought into Albion because it was supposed to be like UO. Again I stopped making money so that was it. Now I just play single player games for the most part.

I'm also an old school UO player. Started playing in beta when I was like 16. I also tried Albion due to the promise that it was like UO. I didn't find too many similarities IMO.

screw payday 2 and their ptw, that game had soo much potential, then the developers became greedy scum bags

Yeah, I thought about trying it but I figured it had pretty much died at this point.

One game I really enjoyed after UO was Shadowbane. That game was great (minus the duping and bugs).

I don't think there will ever be a game like UO again. Not because it can't be done but the rules have changed. Now that everyone has Teamspeak or similar programs the whole idea has changed.

Yeah. I would just love to see a game have things like treasure maps, boats, fishing, fishing nets, sos bottles etc etc implemented like UO had.

Well you suddenly need something to fill all that time, and it's hard to get less productive, so there's nowhere to go from there but up.

I think you mean and then the game was sold to greedy scumbags, pretty sure overkill doesnt develop it anymore, I played on ps3 release, and I just recently got it again for like $3 on steam, and I'm having a ton of fun, its a co-op game not pvp so I really dont give a crap if someone has a OP gun, as long as they're pointing it at the OPFOR then idgaf
