For the second time this month a Sunday delivery from Amazon by USPS didn't arrive. I got a message from Amazon that delivery was 'attempted'. Though the 'attempted' delivery times were different the messages regarding these 2 separate events were sent at just about the identical time by USPS. Apparently, they are set to finish at around 11 am and they return to the Post Office and just report and unload whatever they haven't delivered marked as 'attempted' - I suspect if it's too time-consuming to make the delivery or they run out of time and they feel they can get away with it - This time Amazon said they were going to investigate the delivery problems with USPS and would not send my things via USPS in the future.

It really shouldn't get me as steamed as it does - Amazon has given me a $10 promo credit each time and it's not like waiting until tomorrow is going to kill me - I don't know why but it really rankles.
