I only did 4285 steps today

but I'm recovering from pulling a muscle in my shoulder/back

I think most of the steps were from vacuuming
ive been in a fitbit group since April. challenges every week. every week besides for two ive been in the last two places. then i did a weekend challenge the last two days. had a sudden jolt of motivation. won the challenge with 24k steps. told myself i’d be okay with finishing last like i usually do in the weekday challenges this week (and i still may finish last) but put up 12k steps so far.

i had like 2k steps all of last week combined ?

ive been in the pathetic 900-3k range the last month or so. those are week numbers! not days. didnt give much effort

so when i try i can sometimes put up good step numbers but when i don’t they can downright be sad.

4285 steps after a recent muscle pull is good. how long ago did you pull it?

a peachy’s corner fitbit group would be fun :,

my strategy the last couple days have been to put on a tennis match and basically just do steps until that match finishes. so im watching and not stopping my steps until the match concludes. got like 7000 steps in earlier during a long women’s match

I'm not even sure how to get less than at least like 3k/day  12k is awesome! The challenges must be a good motivator. I only sort of pay attention - my primary use for the fitbit is the silent alarm.

I messed up my shoulder sunday/monday (last week), and I didn't go to the dr. or anything since I know why (one-sided lifting 30lb toddler up and down 3 flights of stairs 2x day for a couple weeks) and it's been slowly getting better.

sorry that you messed up your shoulder. that sounds like a nice workout though :3

pulling a muscle in a back can be tricky though. doesnt take much to injure it again if its not healed all the way

back injuries of any kind suck

I'm sad. I don't have a fitbit. I think it's because I know my fat ass wouldn't use it. lol.
Side note: I wore cute sandals to Cirque in Indy on Sunday. Then drunkenly chose to traverse all of downtown Indy. My calf muscles and feet are killing me now. Dumbass.
