My mental health Wednesday wasn't mental healthy enough. The door on my truck was squeaking. So I sort of took out the seat, removed the doors, and pulled all the trim/sealant pieces to then meticulously apply Vaseline and blow-dry (old motorcycle trick for plastics and rubber) the door sealing pieces and most of the interior rubber and spent today putting everything back together. No, I'm not on drugs, I'm just sort of insane.

Anyway, back to it! Looks slow.

And it's still squeaking.

No, I'm not on drugs, I'm just sort of insane.

And it's still squeaking.

It's not insanity, it can be good for mental health. I like stepping away sometimes to fix something, to make something like an electronics kit, or even just to take apart something that I"m getting ready to toss just to see what's inside it or how it worked when it was still functional.

Have you tried WD40 on the door hinges? Sometimes that works well and quick without having to do a teardown to try to apply lubrication to fix it.
