The max seems to be $0.2 per question if both the validators provide the same answer as you, and $0.1 per question if only one does.

I also cannot figure out how the HIT determines how many different prompts you will complete lol it seems different every time

I would guess randomly or maybe based on how many tries it takes you to beat the system.

After 2 years on mturk I just realized that they track my HIT submission rate. Mine is below 90%. Does that hurt me getting work? Do I need to be more selective about accepting things rather than grabbing it and then deciding?
