Cause my REAL computer died a month+ ago, I'm trying to use a borrowed laptop running Vista with 2Gigs of RAM until I save enough $$ to be another comp. So far, I have been unable to load MTurk Suite off the Chrome store (it doesn't like this computer for some reason): is MTS available from any other site?, or can anybody think of a "work around."

Try this .zip? [Clone or download > Download Zip] https://github.com/Kadauchi/mturk-suite Scroll down for instructions to load. Disclaimer: I've never used or tried that, but it's the only place other than the Chrome store I think you can get it

Maybe try installing Firefox and installing MTS for Firefox instead?...

Try and see if you can upgrade RAM on your Vista to 4Gigs, that's the minimum to run anything smoothly.
Also another thing you can do is look at NewEgg and go for the business end computers, look for refurbs...seriously I've gotten really good deals for under $300 and those laptops and desktops are pretty high end specs (might be a few years old, but will work very smoothly).

That's good of you to be considerate, but it is pretty straightforward to cleanly & completely uninstall Firefox, so hopefully it isn't a problem with the person lending it to you.
