Fitness trackers have always seemed kind of scammy to me.

I don't really see how any of their features help that much to make you more healthy. And they are too expensive.

Mine was gifted to me. I think it helps me be healtier. Especially since I sit at a desk all day. It reminds me to get up. I also like to see how much Im sleeping (I dk why because its never enough lol) its interesting tho. I agree some are expensive they have some cheaper options. I almost bought a $30 one before I was gifted my FitBit. My fiance jokes they are the start of microchips tho lol

Fitbit is a garbage company that I despise w/ a passion, the only reason to get a Fitbit IMO is for the social stuff so you can leave your enemies in the dus..

They're fun if you're in group challenges though. It's always motivating to me to put in an extra walk, if someone is gaining on me, especially if it's @ChrisTurk lol

But forreal @TSolo315 the sleep tracking is worth it but all the $20-30 Chinese knockoffs on Amazon are the price I'd actually be willing to pay for it from a feature:value perspective and there is no way Fitbit's tech is better enough to justify the price lol. But they're definitely worth having in the <$50 range IMO.
