Here is a laugh for those that need it.
Last night, emergency crews show up to our neighbors upstairs. The fire-person knocks on my door wanting to check for carbon/monoxide leak. All is clear. I go out where my neighbor is who called. He tells me he called because his boyfriend has a headache and the detector alerted them about the CO. I was really impressed that my neighbor bought a CO detector because I have been meaning to but we just have the standard smoke detector apartments put in.

The neighbor tells me it has been alerting them for several hours with this little chirp sound every few minutes but they did not want to panic so they called the non-emergency number.
I knew what it was right away but luckily, before I could start laughing and offend my nice neighbors, the fire-person approaches and informs them they only have a smoke detector and that the chirp they were hearing was a dead battery alert. LMAO.

Hope this brings a chuckle to someone who may need one today.
