Damn. Transporting my coffee cup from the Keurig to the sink to dump some off the top, it was filled all the way, and wicked hot coffee spilled all over my hand. Burned like an SOB and had to run my hand under cold water for a minute. Not catching much today so far. Looks like my Hit Catcher is a little slow on the draw.

I think it's mainly when it's pressurized and you move it or jostle it or something. Or too full, not enough liquid... one of those "user error" type things. I still freak out and make everyone stay out of the kitchen when it's on, though ?

Yep. They are just fancier pressure cookers which all have a chance of exploding. A coworker was burnt pretty badly from a pressure cooker explosion at a restaurant I worked at. I'm staying away.

Yeah, I do think it's due to them being used improperly most of the time. They still make me paranoid, though.
