I haul motorcycles and lumber in mine mainly, side gig stuff, but I will say I bought it after it was retired as a maintenance vehicle for local schools. At around 320k miles and since I've driven it at least 3 times a week for 7 years and have so far only had to mess with a little wiring, and do a valve job other than regular maintenance or go fast parts and it's never failed me really. It's caught fire recently but that was my fault. And it makes 350 + mild cam noises and will burn out through 2nd and I don't believe in maturity so here we are.I don't personally own one at the present moment (boyfriend has a 2017 Silverado)
but I like to actually get shit done with mine (horse person)
so I like mine powerful lol, gimme cummings or give me death

Chevy isn't historically awesome with diesels, particularly the transmissions so I totally get that.
