Not as bad as y'all though. But the desert ain't made for hurricane remnants.
Only half the house flooded.
The yard and street were a river. More rain coming. Half the new street is washed out. We thought the whole house was gonna get it.
Bunch of kids can't make it to school (including mine), rescues have been made, news helicopters won't fuck off. BUT, the rain stopped long enough to give us a break and to let the water recede. And my ducks are having the time of their lives. We were expecting only our normal monsoon street-flooding. ?
