Hey, I may be old, but I'm not impossibly ancient....and the postman walked his route carrying a large heavy leather bag.

Fabric bag nowdays, I think. It's weird that most of the streets in my neighborhood have mailboxes at the curb to drive up to, but some streets in this same neighborhood have front door mailboxes so the poor mailperson has to load mail and packages into a fabric bag and hoof it.

If you have kids get the bigger one. If you don't mid-size is a good compromise. They all function the same imo.
