Columbus Day still freaks me out. I watch Canadian TV sometimes and see the Thanksgiving-like ads and wonder why such the early advertising of the holiday and then remember it's their Thanksgiving day.

I get it. I've been off work for 4 weeks and done the bare minimum of cleaning and cooking. In all fairness, I have spent a ton of time trying to earn money turking. And other time with strike duty and dealing with my mother. But today I intend to clean, dammit!
