My husband is also coming out of his depression, it's not easy but slowly each day it's getting better for him. Hopefully having something you enjoy doing and some extra bit of money can help you get back up and feeling better soon <3
I find what helps me is to
force myself to do things and then give myself a
treat for doing it. Also, if I can get
involved in doing something that takes me out of it for that time. I work very hard to avoid things that can be triggers as well - people who act ugly, getting angry, being overly introspective, reading certain things or watching certain things . . . I have to admit I also allow myself to overindulge in 'bad' food - for me, it's chips . . . that's one of my
treats for myself but I try to limit the damage by only having those tiny little snack bags around and only eating one.
